Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim is situated at a height of over five thousand feet above sea level.

Sikkim was once a remote mountain kingdom, ruled by Chogyals (Kings) until 1975; Sikkim is today opening up and proving to be an enchanting new world of friendly, socialite people, exotic flora and fauna, fabulous vistas and serene monastic settlements. Sikkim Tourism India offers several treks that lead through pine forests and picturesque valleys. The state is also the base for mountaineering expeditions and excellent river rafting. In the past few years the state has become one of the most sought after tourist destination.

Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kms / 5 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

 Day 02: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.)

Day 03: Gangtok – Pelling (150 kms / 5 hrs) via Chardham

After breakfast start for Pelling (6,300 ft.). Enroute visit Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) and Sai Temple in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

 Day 04: Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, Sang-Ngag Choling (Sky Walk), New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 05: Pelling – Darjeeling (80 kms /4 hrs)

This morning after breakfast transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.) via Singla check post. On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 06: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) back to hotel. After breakfast start at 8.30 AM visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia loop. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

 Day 07: Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB airport (75 kms / 3 hrs) 

After breakfast Check-out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

• Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, should be is directly payable on the spot).
• Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

• Anything which is not included in the inclusion.

About Transfers:

Ø  Transfer from Bagdogra/NJP railway station will be provided from 06:00 hrs. To 17:00 hrs.

Ø  All hill destinations are 3 to 5 hrs. Drive from station or airport. So, we do not recommend traveling in inadequate day light.

Ø  In unavoidable circumstances the guest may have to stay back at Siliguri at an additional cost.

Ø  If there is any late arrival at NJP railway station, we suggest the guest, considering their safety that they should stay back at the station. Our representative will meet and arrange their transfers at 6:00 a.m.

Ø  Keeping in mind the road condition of any hilly region, the guest should decide upon themselves (with their train and flight timings) as to when they should start the departure transfer. We suggest a buffer time of 2 hours at least.

Ø  All transfers from Gangtok / Darjeeling to onward destinations will be provided either in morning from 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m. or in afternoon from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m.

About Hotel:

Ø  Check-in 14:00 hrs. / Check-out time is 12:00 hrs.

Ø  The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations there is always scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would come across situation like water (hot) being supplied on time basis – morning & evening.

Ø  Room Heater available with an extra cost Bourne by the guest directly (Except at Premium+, Premium & Luxury categories)

Ø  Category of Rooms in the packages normally remains to base category of rooms.

Ø  A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory. 

Ø  For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only provide extra mattress or roll away bed. Most of the hotels have no provision of an extra bed.

Ø  Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising with any services.

Ø  In the area almost all the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can try to arrange rooms at the lowest possible floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs.
